Our Snowy Hydro Traineeship Program offers
local school leavers the opportunity to gain
valuable experience working in a corporate
environment in Snowy Hydro’s Cooma or
Khancoban Office for 12 months.
Throughout the year trainees will:
Obtain valuable employment experience
working alongside business professionals
who will act as coaches and mentors.
Be supported in completing a Certificate III
and IV in Business Administration
Advance their computer skills
Be provided with the opportunity to learn
valuable skills that will benefit future career
Snowy Hydro provide an opportunity for
school leavers to commence a four year
mechanical or electrical apprenticeship.
The program is run in conjunction with Wagga
Wagga TAFE. Apprentices rotate through the
Snowy Scheme operating and maintenance
centres in Khancoban, Cabramurra, Talbingo
Throughout the program apprentices will:
Learn and develop within the business
Work alongside technical experts in a
complex and highly technical environment.
Build a successful career whilst maintaining
a regional lifestyle.

BAR SERVICES (11.30am - 6pm)
A minimum of six staff are required to
provide bar services including the selling of
drink tickets. Servers are required to hold a
current RSA certificate.
Bus operators are required to provide return
services from locations including Cudgewa,
Corryong, Walwa & Khancoban.
Kitchen & dining room services including
the provision of food for the corporate
CAR PARKING ATTENDANTS
A minimum of three attendants are required
from 10.45am to 2.45pm.
