Damms Auto & Diesel Repairs in Corryong is
offering local farmers the opportunity to experience
the new McCormick range of tractors and Bobcat
equipment at a Drive Day next week.
McCormick will have a revamped G-MAX model
and X7.6 tractor fuelled up and ready to go through
their paces plus Bobcat farm equipment to test out.
The new G-MAX tractor range comes to the
market after extensive restyling. Updates include
a new four-post cab with large glazed areas and
ergonomically arranged controls for the cab
version and a revamped platform with newly
designed dashboard and controls for the platform
version. The sloping line of the hood provides
unobstructed view in all directions, thereby
improving manoeuvrability and driving comfort.
The G-MAX offers a choice of two transmissions - a
Speed Six mechanical transmission and a T-Tronic
electronic transmission. Both transmissions can be
optionally equipped with a creeper, making this
tractor equally suited for both field work and road
The four G-MAX models are powered by the
very latest generation of Betapower 6-cylinder
turbo engines with air-to-air intercooler, delivering
117hp, 133hp, 141hp and 157hp.
Sporting a modern hood and cab design with
a stylish and aggressive look, a new PS-drive
transmission and proven Betapower engines, the
new McCormick X7.6 has three models ready
to meet the challenges of today’s increasingly
competitive agricultural economy.
